Delete your Cosojo account
Cosojo users can permanently delete their account and associated personal data.
Delete your account
- Sign in to Cosojo.
- Open the account menu using the circular account button in the upper-right corner.
- Select Delete account.
- Select Delete permanently to confirm.
If you signed in with Apple, complete this process in the Cosojo iOS app so Apple can confirm the deletion.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes your Cosojo sign-in account and account details, including your email address and account identifier. It also permanently removes every appreciation you created, whether public or private.
Related data is removed at the same time: private sharing links and correction or removal requests for your appreciations, plus any saved-gratitude associations connected to your account or to an appreciation you created. This also removes those appreciations from the public Museum and from other users’ saved lists.
What may be retained
Information sent separately from your account, such as a QR request or a correction, removal, or report request about someone else’s appreciation, is not linked to your Cosojo account and is not removed by this account-deletion action. Cosojo retains that information only while reasonably necessary to process the request, operate and protect the service, or meet legal obligations. No fixed retention period is specified.
